Tellurium Q talk about the fact that any cable from their manufacturer is an electronic filter- whether you want it to be or not, that is just a fact of life. By acting as a filter, any cable causes relative phase relationship issues for the signal. They have taken their research and development that was outlined in “Our Focus” and sought to push the concept of a neutral filter as far as they thought it was possible to give you a highly transparent, natural and “real” presentation.
So, what’s different? Well, compared to the Black Diamond, which was their award-winning multi-product of the year cable, the Silver Diamond has even better bass definition, improved detail, a more extended top end (without any harshness), and something else which people are finding hard to define simply because they have not heard it before. As one of the first people to hear the cable said: there is a “certain rightness” to the sound, and that is because Tellurium have gotten closer to achieving their goal in cable development and signal transmission than ever before, and you can hear it. Perhaps an analogy would be to talk about the Black Diamond as HD image quality, whereas the Silver Diamond is 4K Ultra HD quality with 3D effortlessly thrown in for good measure.
This cable behaves differently from our others, requiring a run-through of track three from our System disc to properly embed it before listening on a new system- even when it is run in – almost like conditioning the system to make the most of the cable’s abilities. It may sound strange to say that a system needs to be tuned up, or put in tune, to get the most from this cable- but the cable is something quite unique, as you will hear if you get the chance to listen to a system employing it.

Termination:
Each speaker cable is terminated to a high standard by Tellurium’s Engineers in the UK using quality banana or spade plugs. With recommend customers use Tellurium’s silver-plated banana plugs where possible. The design of this connector achieves a full 360° of contact when it’s inserted into a binding post maximising signal flow from the cable into the plug and then from the plug into the binding post.

The Silver range is designed to give silver-like character without harshness. The Black range, which includes Black Diamond, aims for a transparent and lifelike presentation. The Blue range adds a little warmth to balance a bright system. You can pick the family that matches your system before choosing a level.

Tellurium Q are the brand customers tell us about unprompted. Black is the range that sells and the one people return to buy more of, usually after hearing what a single interconnect did. Fourteen years of selling them and the feedback has not shifted, which is rarer than it sounds.
We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.
Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7-10 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.

Feeling flush, I thought I'd try Tellurium Diamonds on a sale or return basis.
What can I say?
The separation between instruments is awesome, and stereo placement extends well beyond the width of the speakers, with an almost wrap-around quality.
The reproduction of sound has a 3D quality—you could almost reach out and touch the instruments.
The reproduction of the sound quality is natural and engaging.
The sound is clean and covers the full frequency range.
The attack and decay are as you would expect, and transparency is glorious.
But let's be honest. Unless you have a very high-end hi-fi, you may not appreciate the glory of these cables, but for those who do, don't hesitate to purchase them.
