This compact device boasts patented, passive technology that effectively reduces the detrimental influences of RFI and EMI, as well as prevents impulse noise from flowing between components. This not only improves the digital signal, but also enhances the overall sound and video quality of your system.
But what sets the EXT2 apart from other isolators on the market is its higher-quality version of the patented, passive elements, modular chambers filled with damping material, and a vibration mitigating CNC milled, high-grade aluminium case. These features work together to provide a performance improvement of five times that of its predecessor, the EXT-1.
The EXT-2 is also incredibly easy to incorporate into your system. Simply place it between your source and endpoint, with the longest cable from the source to the EXT-2 and a short cable (no more than 30cm/12 inches) between the EXT-2 and the endpoint. And with its compact size and lightweight design, it won't take up much space or add any unnecessary weight to your system.

Overshoot, Undershoot Measurement
Digital signals are essentially time-domain-dependent differentials of voltage that signify a value. Voltage overshoot and undershoot within a digital signal circuit can cause sound degradation.
By utilising Waversa’s patented Isolator technology, these overshoot and undershoot values are significantly minimised, greatly improving the integrity of the signal and preserving the inherent resolution of the recording.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

Well, I was shocked. Putting the EXT1 between my network router and streaming transport brought about a ridiculous improvement. Streamed music went from being fairly digital sounding and lagging quite a way behind the SQ of my CD transport to becoming a rich, warm, inviting affair that was the most analogue sound I'd ever heard from digital. There was better 'Hi-Fi' characteristics too, such as improved definition, tonal variation and bass extension but all that paled in comparison to the effect of the music now being truly beautiful, a living, breathing event. Needless to say, the EXT1 stayed in my system and I wrote a glowing review of it.
Well, then I found out abut the EXT2, which is supposedly 5x more accurate than the EXT1 and only a few hundred pounds more. I got hold of one of the first stock to arrive and I am blown away again, although in different ways. The EXT2 helps deliver the same generous, lyrical, analogue-like sound I was getting with the EXT1, but there are even greater 'Hi-Fi' improvements such as better tonal variation and shading, better definition, the capture of ambience, all whilst retaining the remarkable, natural, beautiful musicality that the EXT1 gave. The improvements aren't as near-revolutionary as when I first got the EXT1 but are still clear and worth the upgrade.
I can't recommend the Waversa isolators enough. It made my relatively humble streaming transport go from being digital-sounding, a little inhuman and playing second fiddle to my CD transport to becoming my primary source. I'm still amazed how rich, natural, vivid and compelling digital can actually sound. It reminds me that music is supposed to be a thing of beauty, not merely impressive.
I just wish Waversa did something that could bring about similar improvements to my CD transport.
