Chord Clearway Streaming Ethernet Cable
The new Clearway Streaming Cable by Chord Company represents a step up in performance from the entry-level C-series, featuring four pairs of high-speed conductors that have been individually shielded from each other, as well as a shield for all four pairs which helps to minimise the effect of external noise on this cable. This product also features gold-plated terminations to combat oxidisation, ensuring a long lifespan for this cable.

Clearway Streaming cable has been designed to virtually eliminate the pickup of external high-frequency noise that can interfere with your enjoyment of streamed digital audio and video. Noise can find its way into the signal grounds and affect the performance of both digital and analogue circuits. Although the digital information is very robust this unwanted noise can compromise the final performance.
To avoid this each of the four pairs of oxygen-free high-speed conductors have been individually shielded from the others. In addition to this we have fitted an overall shield below the outer jacket, optimised to further protect against high-frequency noise.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

Brilliant service, as always, from Future Shop. Love the burn in service
In terms of sound, the bass becomes more controlled and punchy.
With this cable connecting my NUC to my TP-link switch, I also noticed that the acoustic bass had more weight. Each cable seems to let me turn up the volume, which is probably helping all connected equipment perform better.
For streaming the USB cable made the biggest immediate change to my modest sub 5k system.
Great quality Ethernet cable. Also, they are British-made.

More than a minor subtle improvement has been experienced with the picture, making it a fair bit clearer / sharper and the sound slightly less harsh.
Not a massive night and day difference but a noticeable and worthwhile one.
Chord makes excellent cables, and FutureShop gives excellent service at good prices.
Stunning affordable gem.
I immediately heard a fuller, more distinct sound, better bass notes, and better identity in each instrument with the C-stream, a far less cluttered sound. Currently, people like me before they actually very much doubt that a cable will make much of a difference, but the plain truth is they do. Large companies such as QED, Chord, etc., are not stupid. They understand that if they were selling products under false pretence via current marketing law, they would be in danger of severe judicial penalty and loss of reputation. That is just one aspect that sceptics often overlook.
I intend to purchase the Clearway for my internet streamer, and the C-stream will be allocated to the Xbox, which also exhibited a vastly superior sound when using the C-stream from Chords. So, in conclusion, ignore the neigh-sayers or any 'trolling' against what these cables provide as they do improve sound quality as do upgraded mains power leads.
This cable replaced a bog-standard DIY cable off a 100m reel, about £40 I think, somewhat cheaper than £20 per metre of this! I was staggered and I'm a natural sceptic. A significant improvement, very noticeable and too much to be my imagination! In my system, which includes a Naim NDX 2, it proved a very cost-effective upgrade. Wonder if I should've bought the Shawline...
