Does a little block that takes 1s and 0s through it from the internet make our music sound better? It seems to work.
We had our EE1 in between the router and a Bluesound Node on our test system comprising a Chord Mojo and Marantz SR7015. Actually, it didn't just work; its performance truly surprised us. We gave the little box a challenging test using Club for Five's beautifully recorded version of Brothers in Arms.
The multi-layered acapella track recorded with deep reverb allowed the EE1 to do its job with sound staging. The layers of choral voices were clear, separated and able to shine while the lead baritone voice's texture kept afloat on top of the mix. The distant pulses, sounding like cannon shots, had the subtlety of decay to suggest their distance, and as the chorus built into the deep bass tone, the impact was solid. Overall, the EE1 network noise isolator gave our music a livelier, more forward presentation.

Installation
For optimum results, please ensure the > direction marking on the EE1 follows the direction of the music/data signal. Installing the EE1 will require an additional ethernet cable. We recommend using Chord Company streaming cables throughout your audio system. If using cables of varying quality, we suggest connecting the superior model/s as far along the signal path as possible. If further noise reduction/enhancement is desired, a second EE1 can be installed between the router and network switch.
We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

Most customers report noticeable improvements in sound clarity, reduced noise floor, and enhanced soundstage depth when using this Ethernet isolator, particularly in high-end audio systems. Build quality is consistently praised as solid. However, experiences vary significantly: while the majority describe immediate, substantial benefits—especially at lower volumes and with high-resolution audio—two reviewers found minimal or negative impacts. One noted improvements were marginal when used alongside existing network filters, while another reported a muddled presentation they preferred to remove entirely. The product also performs well beyond audio applications, with one user reporting picture quality improvements for video streaming. Wow, after playing a John Martyn track and the start of Tool's 'Fear Innoculum' from Spotify Premium (smidge better definition than CD), then fitting the EE1 straight after, the boost in clarity and soundstage depth & width was immediately obvious: it's a keeper! I am now on a Qobuz free trial, seriously considering a HiRes subscription.
In both systems, the EE1 made a difference, and some parts of the music sounded more forward. Overall, the presentation was a little muddled, and I preferred the sound without it in the system. To be fair, we also tried a Stack Audio Smooth Lan and an Aardvark.
All of them made a difference, but none of them for the better :'(
I thought I'd give this a try, and boy, what a difference! My best description is that the sound has a cleaner, more open feel to it, and the edginess has gone. I'm one happy customer!
At the price, it might be considered a ‘no-brainer’!
