Purely dynamic, designed to absorb noise and block interference, Wireworld’s innovative Fluxfield™ technology with Composilex 2 insulation provide surprisingly vivid sound and imaging. Unlike other cords, they were developed through direct comparisons to battery power, the ultimate in sonic and visual purity. Their elegant plugs feature silver-clad contacts, for the quietest and lowest loss connections available. The five models differ in their conductor material, as the smoother current flow of superior conductors provides additional improvements in sound and image quality. The mini power cords use a simpler version of the fluxfield design for low powered components. Since they function as filters, longer lengths provide greater improvements and we recommend two meters or more for the best performance.
Wireworld power cords are designed to solve a completely different set of problems to audio and video cables. An ideal audio or video cable would pass the entire frequency range without alteration. However, an ideal power cord would pass only the 50Hz or 60Hz AC power, while blocking all other frequencies, to prevent power line noise and harmonics from degrading the sound and imaging quality of the system.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Special Delivery UK - Guaranteed Next Working Day
We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.
Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days.

Wow, what a power cable! This is my first WireWorld I've ever bought from Future Shop.
I connected it up to my Denon CD player DCD685. The sound coming from the mains power cable exhibits wide-sounding dispersion. The treble is clear, and the midrange is equally impressive. The bass is tight, with a noticeable snap when listening through AKG headphones, bookshelf speakers, or floor-standing speakers.
It looks and feels good quality to the eye, and to feel as well, it is well-made. The cable geometry says what it says on the manufacturing box. I haven't contacted it yet to my QLED 43-inch TV to see what the picture quality and sound will be like. If anything, it will probably sound like the above. Hopefully, so I'll look into some more model power cables from Wireworld and take it a step up in quality to see if there are any more differences.
I'm expecting to find differences in HDMI, optical, coaxial, and Analogue cables, as well as speaker cables and a mains extension hub, by studying Wireworld's cables and geometry. I haven't tried some of them yet, so I say buy with confidence, people.

Excellent fig8 plug provides solid connection that stays put when fitted and doesn't fall out of socket if cable accidentally nudged, would say safe to avoid electrical shorts. Picture noise interference is cleared up a bit and TV performs not bad for a 6 year old 720p/100hz 32inch, added dimensional image and clearer.
If you had a lot of bends and corners to get round you might have a bit of a fight to rout these cables, but if your equipment is freestanding without obstructions they're straight forward enough, just a bit trickier than smooth cables. Solid quality construction, good value/ performance, have excellent packaging with materials/design information, good safety aspect,- excellent efficiency. Still early in installation plugged in with this cable and have no immediate plans to upgrade to a HD 4K. It saves you money.
And Future Shop is just about one of the most reliable places you can shop, they always deliver. Thanks.

Overkill for me and not user friendly.. I feel very foolish about having bought this cable. I just wanted to ensure that I had the best quality power cord I could find. I’m not commenting on the quality of power transmission as such, but this cable looks like steel rope and is only a little more flexible. The silver badged, black lump on the end also does nothing for the aesthetics and the combination of its weight and the stiffness of the cable means successfully getting the plug in and then to stay in is just way more difficult than it really should or needs to be. Buying it was my mistake I guess.
