Entreq Athena Bespoke Hi-Fi Rack
Athena is the result of more than 8 years development and tests. Entreq's goal was to develop and create a rack that really handle the special demands arround Hi-Fi and AV placement without any limits. The depth of shelfs are 50 cm and they are available in 3 widths. Single 60 cm, Twin 114 cm and Tripple 168 cm. Other size on special request. All in all this means you can configure in several way and always can find a solution that fit your demand.
The Athena support system is a culmination of Entreq’s knowledge & combined technologies brought together in a support system primarily focused on the control of unwanted physical parasitic energy, high frequency noise & electronic/electrical based field effects. Therefore, by default, it bares little resemblance to almost any other support system currently available. This is simply because it tackles a gamut of problems that traditional Hifi Racks do not take in to consideration. The Athena is therefore far more effective on many levels than any comparably priced solution and can be configured in both performance and price terms to suit each customer’s system requirements, thus ensuring a dramatic reduction in the noise floor on all three fronts.
The following is a basic outline of the main areas that the Entreq Athena rack is looking to address:
- Minimal metal construction to reduce the interaction of different metals and their subsequent uncontrolled field effects on the signals themselves.
- Naturally damped, multiple constrained layered construction – not random bits of wood machined in to the shape of shelves – also a completely non-magnetic material!
- Anti-resonance porting within each shelf.
- Active Silvernet system (entire shelf) to reduce and remove RF/RFI and other noise inducing field effects, lowering the noise floor dramatically.
- Finally a Solid Silver Grounding point, found on Level 2 - 3 shelf construction, allowing the option to efficiently remove all high frequency induced field effects, leading them away to an Entreq grounding Box.
Levels of shelf performance:
- Level 1: 3 constrained layers, 21mm thick
- Level 2: 8 constrained layers, 28mm thick, Silvernet and Silver Ground post
- Level 3: 11 constrained layers, 49mm thick, Silvernet and Silver Ground post

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
