Furutech LAN-8 NCF Ethernet Cable
The LAN-8 is Furutech's first CAT8 ethernet cable, and offers fantastic performance. It features an NCF treated shell, which eliminates static and converts thermal energy into infrared, and by using nano ceramic and nano carbon powders Furutech are able to achieve further dampening. This cable can transmit data at 40GBps and is fully CAT8 certified.
What Furutech say
Furutech’s LAN-8 NCF features a connector shell incorporating their proprietary Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF). NCF uses a special crystalline material that Furutech claims has two ‘active’ properties.
First, they say, it generates negative ions that eliminate static. Second, it converts thermal energy into far-infrared. Furutech combines this material with nano sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional ‘piezoelectric effect’ damping properties.

A cryogenic and demagnetising treatment
The Alpha Process combines cryogenic treatment with demagnetisation, and Furutech applies it to its alpha-treated pure copper. It sits alongside Ohno Continuous Cast single-crystal copper in the conductor line-up, so the Furutech catalogue includes more than one route to a pure copper conductor.
Copper, silver and hybrid conductors
Furutech's materials include silver-plated copper and copper-silver hybrids as well as OCC and alpha-treated copper. DUCC and PC-Triple C copper appear in some of its cables. This range of conductors means the same plug design can be paired with different cable types.
NCF material and interference absorption
Furutech describes its NCF, short for Nano Crystal Formula, as generating negative ions and converting thermal energy into far infrared energy. It also uses a material called GC-303 to absorb electromagnetic interference. These are Furutech's own descriptions of what the materials are designed to do.

Special Delivery UK - Guaranteed Next Working Day
We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.
Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

I chose these cables because they are the highest quality Ethernet cables I could find that were 1) only 0.6m and 2) a very reasonable price (£140). Having had a double power socket from Furutech, I know their NCF material, which is made from, has improved the power delivery to said Openreach and EE modems.
A fourth cable feeds my Sky Q box and a fifth will link the internet to my Sennheiser Ambeo Max soundbar, for use with my Roon server. Using 0.6m Ethernet cables is neater than the standard 1m, and why pay for more cable than you need? They are a fantastic find - there's an audible sharpening of my musical soundstage with only 1 cable in place (the first one in the chain), so I couldn't be happier with their performance.
They improved the sound noticeably. Very well made - however, note that the newer LAN-8 "Plus" cables have the directional arrow, the standard (older) ones do not.
I understand that Furutech is migrating to "Plus" branding for its newer cables. Either way, both should do the job of clearing up the signal and thus improving the sound.
