Gefen EXT-UHDA-HBT2 HDBaseT 2.0 - Extend HDMI, Ethernet, RS-232, 2-way IR, 2-way Audio
The EXT-UHDA-HBT2 uses Gefen's implementation of the latest HDBaseTTM 2.0 technology to extend HDMI up to 330 feet (100m) at 4K, using one CAT-5e cable. 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) 8-bit video can be extended up to 495 feet (150 meters). The new HDBaseTTM 2.0 ColligoTM platform provides additional features such as 2-way audio extension and ensures an even more robust and resilient connection than the industry standard HDBaseTTM.
Resolutions up to 4K DCI-Cinema (4096 x 2160 @ 30 Hz 4:4:4) and 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz 4:2:0) along with 7.1 channels of LPCM and HBR (High Bit Rate) lossless digital audio are supported. Supported HBR formats include Dolby Atmos®, Dolby® TrueHD, DTS:XTM, and DTS-HD Master AudioTM. Ethernet connection for a Smart TV can be extended from the source side to the viewing location without the need to run a separate cable. RS-232 and 2-way IR are transferred between the Sender and the Receiver to control the A/V source and the display. TOSLINK® Optical Digital Audio can be sent from the viewing location back to the source and analog audio can be extended from the source side to the Receiver. Bi-Directional POH (Power Over HDBaseTTM) technology provides power from the Sender to the Receiver and vice versa, using the same CAT-5 cable that extends the HDMI and control signals. Only one of the two units needs an external power supply. The POH standard ensures compatibility with other POH class-compliant devices. The Gefen Syner-GTM software with its powerful EDID Management capabilities speeds up configura- tion, performs real-time performance audits via Link Monitoring, and simplifies in-field firmware updates. Low profile, surface-mountable Sender and Receiver units fit in tight places and accommodate Gefen locking HDMI cables for secure connections.
Installation Tip: Shielded (STP) CAT-5e or better cable is recommended. Unshielded (UTP) CAT-5e or better cable may be acceptable depending on cable quality, but results could vary. Care should always be taken to keep the link cable away from power lines and other sources of electromagnetic interference.

Extenders and switchers move signals around a building
Gefen's extenders carry audio and video beyond the reach of a standard cable, and its matrix switchers route several sources to several screens. Splitters and scalers sit alongside them. Support for 4K, 8K and HDBaseT depends on the model, so check the specification.
KVM switches share one set of controls
A KVM switch lets you operate several computers from one keyboard, mouse and display. Gefen includes KVM over IP models, which extend that control across a network, so the computer and the person using it do not need to be in the same room.
Adaptors, cables and test tools support the system

Gefen's extenders carry audio and video beyond the reach of a standard cable, and its matrix switchers route several sources to several screens. Splitters and scalers sit alongside them. Support for 4K, 8K and HDBaseT depends on the model, so check the specification.
KVM switches share one set of controls
A KVM switch lets you operate several computers from one keyboard, mouse and display. Gefen includes KVM over IP models, which extend that control across a network, so the computer and the person using it do not need to be in the same room.
Adaptors, cables and test tools support the system
The range includes AV adaptors, wall plates, HDMI and Ethernet cables, power supplies and control processors, as well as test tools such as the DVI Detective. Syner-G is its management software. Check the product page for the items currently available.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.
Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
