The iFi Audio LAN iSilencer 4/8/12 is a rack-mountable network conditioning unit built for professional and custom AV environments where multiple streaming and playback devices need simultaneous, consistent isolation from network-borne interference. Available in four, eight, and twelve-port configurations, each input and output pair is independently isolated using transformer-based galvanic isolation rated to 1500Vrms, blocking ground-loop induced noise and common-mode interference that are particularly prevalent in larger, more complex network setups. Passive RF filtration follows the isolation stage, removing high-frequency interference that can affect signal timing at the conversion stage, with direct consequences for audio and video playback quality in sensitive downstream components such as DACs, streamers, and digital processors.

Each port pair also incorporates Transient Voltage Suppression, providing up to 400W peak protection against power spikes and surges, safeguarding valuable equipment throughout the installation. The chassis is designed to the same 214 x 133 x 41mm footprint as the LAN iPurifier Pro 4 and is fully compatible with iFi's OMNI rack mount kit for clean 1U integration into professional equipment racks. All ports support Gigabit bandwidth at 10, 100, and 1000Mbps, and the unit operates passively with no power supply required.
