ISOL-8 IsoLink VECTOR Power Cable
The ISOL-8 IsoLink VECTOR is a statement-level mains power cable that builds on an established reputation in high-end audio, refined through careful attention to both electrical and mechanical performance. The terminals are solid machined pure copper with rhodium plating, selected by blind listening audition rather than specification alone, and the strand diameter and quantity throughout the cable have been chosen specifically for optimal sound quality rather than purely for electrical efficiency. The result is a cable that takes power delivery seriously at every level of its construction.
One of the more considered aspects of the VECTOR's design is how it addresses magnetostriction, the tendency for conductors to move slightly relative to one another under the high peak current pulses that a mains cable regularly handles. Left unchecked, this dynamic instability raises the cable's noise floor in a way that is modulated by the current waveform itself. During manufacture, the small voids that naturally form between the cable's circular-section components are filled with an elastomer, maximising mechanical integrity and minimising this effect at the source. A carbon-loaded polymer screen provides full cross-sectional EMI shielding across the conductors, and a flexible synthetic rubber outer jacket delivers the final layer of mechanical stability with low-loss electrical characteristics.
Manufactured in the UK, the VECTOR is available in 1.5 metre standard lengths with UK plug to IEC terminations, and custom lengths can be ordered with fast turnaround for those with specific installation requirements.

The strand diameter and quantity chosen to be the optimum configuration for sound quality. Great care has been taken with the physical construction to preserve power transmission integrity.
Cables are made by a process of laying up the individual mechanical and electrical components with the outer jacket. The forms of these components are each circular in cross section and leave small voids between the components in the finished cable.
The high peak current pulses the cable has to deliver under typical operating conditions causes the conductors to move relative to one another under magnetostriction. This small dynamic instability in conductor geometry raises the cable noise floor, modulated by the current waveform and degrades performance.
The IsoLink VECTOR undergoes a special process during manufacture to fill these small voids with an elastomer to maximise mechanical integrity and minimise this effect.

Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
