Matrix Audio Tempo DX+ Rack
The TEMPO DX RACK is a purpose-built audio rack co-developed by Matrix Audio and Audio Bastion, a specialist in isolation systems for high-end audio. At its structural core is Audio Bastion's proprietary X-shaped isolation architecture, inspired by the bolted I-beam structures used in architectural engineering, which effectively blocks the transmission of vibration through the rack itself. Stainless-steel spikes at the base interface with isolation footers containing a mechanical dispersion structure of steel beads and silicone, distributing equipment weight evenly and providing a stable, grounded foundation for every component placed on it.
Integration with Matrix Audio components has been considered carefully throughout. Newly designed stainless-steel positioning cones sit within the rack's sliding bases and locate precisely into the centre recess of Matrix Audio device feet, removing the need to repeatedly reposition components and ensuring nothing shifts during operation. Beneath each cone, a silicone air-cushion layer adds a second stage of damping, further refining vibration control. The geometry of the central X-shaped structure has also been optimised to widen the spacing between side columns, reduce visual obstruction of front panels, and shorten the overall depth of the rack to minimise desktop footprint.
The TEMPO DX RACK is available in Standard and Large sizes, with the Standard version suited to the Matrix Audio T Series and the Large version (DX+) designed specifically for the N Series, accommodating up to four tiers to house the NT-1, ND-1, NA-1, and SC-1 together. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
