The Meze Audio Copper PCUHD Premium Cable is a hand-braided upgrade cable designed to bring out the natural sonic character of compatible Meze headphones, including the 99 Classics 2nd Gen, 105 AER, 105 Silva, 109 Pro, Strada, Liric, and Poet. The conductor material is Furukawa PCUHD copper, a single-crystallised, ultra-high drawability copper produced using a cold manufacturing process that avoids heat-related contamination and keeps oxygen content to 5ppm or below, achieving 99.99% purity well within oxygen-free specification. This level of material refinement translates directly into the listening experience: bass gains definition and control, stereo imaging becomes more precise, and vocals take on greater presence and clarity, all within a sound that feels cohesive and musically engaging rather than analytically lean.
Each cable is made up of 140 individual conductors at 0.04mm diameter, hand-braided in Baia Mare, Romania in an eight-wire to four-wire configuration. This twisted geometry reduces electromagnetic interference by minimising the magnetic fields that build between adjacent conductors, lowering the noise floor and keeping the signal path as clean as possible. Connections are soldered using Jensen 4% silver solder, and the cable is finished in a flexible, USA-made TPE sleeve that resists tangling in everyday use. Featuring a proven twisted design, each cable is made of 140 conductors with 0.04mm in diameter, in an eight-wire to four-wire braid configuration. Twisting the wires minimizes the energy of the magnetic fields created by each wire, allowing us to achieve proper noise and signal interference reduction. We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
