SEADA SD-MV-CM1602 4K60 16x2 Multiviewer
The SEADA SD-MV-CM1602 is a 4K60 16x2 multiviewer, also described by SEADA as a UHD video switcher, designed to gather many video sources onto a single screen at full Ultra HD resolution. Developed by UK AV specialist SEADA Technology, the SD-MV-CM1602 accepts sixteen inputs and drives two HDMI 2.0 outputs simultaneously, so one unit can supply a main display and a second monitor at the same time. Typical applications include security monitoring, broadcasting, video conferencing, industrial production and instrument monitoring.
Input capacity is split across two cards, A and B. On each card the first four inputs accept sources up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, with two of those positions offering DisplayPort 1.2 as an alternative to HDMI 2.0, while the remaining four HDMI inputs handle up to 1080p60. In total the SD-MV-CM1602 provides eight 4K60-capable inputs and eight 1080p60 inputs, with HDCP 2.2 support. Output resolution is selectable between 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz, using RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:4:4 or YUV 4:2:2 colour at 8-bit depth. Layouts are not limited to fixed templates: the screen can be divided freely on a grid of up to 15 x 15, and ten fixed split-screen modes are available for one-touch access. Changing the source in any window is seamless, with no black-screen interruption, and up to eight custom layouts can be saved and recalled from dedicated front-panel buttons.
Audio follows the HDMI path, with any one of the sixteen inputs selectable as the audio source, and a 3.5mm analogue output allows that audio to be fed to a separate amplifier or speaker system. Control options include front-panel buttons, the supplied IR remote, RS232 and TCP/IP commands, and a browser-based Web GUI where layouts are built by dragging sources into windows, with static IP or DHCP addressing. The SD-MV-CM1602 runs from a 12V 5A power adapter with a threaded locking connector, draws 50W, measures 440mm wide, 200mm deep and 60mm high, weighs 4kg, and SEADA's manual describes both desktop and rack-mounted installation.

Active optical cables cover long distances

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
