Chord Speaker Cables

LeylineX has been designed to bring out the best performance from today’s increasingly sophisticated yet affordably priced electronics and loudspeakers and provide consistent and reliable service in environments where cables may be non-removable.

The C-ScreenX Speaker Cable is a discreet, shielded cable enhanced by Chord's XLPE insulation. The use of shielding in this cable sets it apart from competitors at the same price range. Its small 9mm diameter and flexible white cable make it a good option for audio or home-cinema systems.

Leyline4X has been designed to bring out the best performance from today’s increasingly sophisticated yet affordably priced electronics and loudspeakers and provide consistent and reliable service in environments where cables may be non-removable. Chord's latest XLPE dielectric brings a huge improvement over the previous (and more commonly used) PVC. This move follows the successful introduction of Taylon® as a phase-stable insulation material in the flagship SarumT and ChordMusic speaker cables and the subsequent roll-out of XLPE across their speaker cable ranges.

The winner of What Hi-Fi's Best Speaker Cable award for 3 consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016), Chord's ClearwayX delivers exceptional performance at a very reasonable price. High Purity 14AWG OFC Conductors paired with silver-plated banana or spade plugs deliver remarkable clarity and detail, with a wide sound stage.

The Chord Clearway Jumper Cables are 20cm long with the option of spade to spade or spade to banana plugs. They are designed to link the bass frequency posts with the high-frequency posts of bi-wirable speaker.

This multi-award-winner from Chord packs a surprising punch for such a small cable. Featuring XLPE insulation and silver-plated OFC the Rumour X offers impressive clarity and a cohesive, dynamic sound.

Shawline X speaker cable is based around Chord Rumour (now known as Rumour X) – a favourite for 20+ years. The conductors are silver-plated, insulated with XLPE and arranged in a twisted pair configuration. To produce Chord Shawline X, Chord have taken the existing conductor layout, added a specially chosen PVC internal jacket to reduce mechanical noise, before applying the same high density, dual-layer foil and braid shield that they use on Chord Epic.

EpicX has been part of Chord's speaker cable range for many years – it’s a shielded cable that works with pretty much every style of speaker. From mid-price to high end, EpicX brings detail, dynamics, resolution and coherence to every speaker it’s used with. It’s particularly good at bringing control and definition across the bass frequencies and is the ideal cable solution for floor-standing speakers.
