Furutech’s α (Alpha) OCC‐DUCC is one of a select few of conductors that Furutech engineers have found to excel in sound reproduction. α (Alpha) OCC –DUCC is constructed using a combination of DUCC Ultra Crystallized High Purity Copper and Furutech’s world-famous Pure Transmission α (Alpha)-OCC.
Furutech DUCC Ultra Crystallized High Purity Copper -- supplied and regulated with strict quality control by Mitsubishi Materials Industries -- is one of the best conductors Furutech engineers have found for signal transmission. (MMI is the leading manufacturer of the highest-purity oxygen-free copper in the world). Mitsubishi process this extremely pure oxygen-free copper with new technology that optimally aligns the crystals while reducing the number of crystal-grain boundaries resulting in a tremendously efficient conductor.
Straight OCC’s benefits are its larger “fibrous” crystals in which one dimension is longer than the other two so as to create as few crystal junctions as possible. Thus, OCC’s sensitivity to directionality; one path exhibits the least resistance. Furutech’s world-famous Pure Transmission α-OCC is the result of further processing with the Alpha Super Cryogenic and Demagnetizing treatment. However, DUCC purity goes a significant step further. Mitsubishi Materials designed the new conductor to optimally align the copper crystal grain structure in addition to reducing crystal grain boundaries. As a result, DUCC is less sensitive to directionality than OCC.

The sound became more open and effortless, with a beautiful sense of dynamics and control.
I’m using it in my high-end system, which includes:
• Speakers: DALI Rubikore 2
• Amplifier: YBA 350A
• Streamer: Volumio Rivo Plus with Ferrum Hypsos PSU
• DAC: Topping Centaurus
• Power Conditioner: AudioQuest Niagara 1200
With the yellow fuse upgrade, the cable delivers a noticeable improvement in soundstage depth and tonal richness. It’s not just an upgrade — it’s a transformation. Highly recommended for anyone serious about getting the absolute best out of their system.
After 2 weeks of burn-in, the sound is now very involving with a "front row seat" characteristic which demands attention when it is playing. The soundstage is wide with lots of detail. Vocals are noticeably clearer, while the bass is deep and under control.

I replaced Caradas with Furutech power cable because I have Pass Labs int60, and everywhere on the forums and reviews, they mentioned the DPS4.1 works well.
The amplifier blossomed sonically in every sense, whether high, medium tones or deep tonality, but you know it took time to tune in. In the first attempt, it was not disappointing, but in a week, it became a great greeting.
It replaced a £500 power cable with Oyaide IEC and MS HD plugs. Initially, I thought I had made a mistake, but gradually, it revealed itself. Every aspect of the sound has improved in all dimensions- absolutely nothing is missing, and finally, this is the end of my cable upgrade road. It has an SR purple 13 amp fuse, and the regenerator and server also have purple fuses with an SR Orange in the Farad power cable for the Project RS 2 T.
The SBooster has a QSA Light Blue fuse inside. I wish I had bought this cable a long while back. No regrets whatsoever. Top-class service from Future Shop with helpful guidance and none of the brusqueness that another specialist provides. Everything downstream has improved. Seriously recommend.
It needs a long time to break-in, but you will get a clue of its true potential after about 12h. This is one of the best buys ever, and I should have bought it earlier.
I strongly use it as the main power lead between the wall to PDU.
The price is quite expensive but the quality is beyond the price.
