CYP's strength is breadth. Where most AV distribution brands cover the common cases, CYP have a part for the awkward one: the format conversion nobody else makes, the audio de-embedder, the scaler that handles a legacy source, the extender for an unusual distance.
That makes them a useful brand for integrators, because a single supplier can cover a whole system including the parts that do not fit a standard specification.
